Become a Volunteer
Caring for injured, sick and orphaned wild animals is a time consuming activity.
Besides caring for animals there are many other things that you can do to help – from answering public calls, knitting possum pouches, assembling aviaries or providing transport.
All volunteering activities are equally important and volunteers are what make our organisation run smoothly.
To become a volunteer, you must be a Financial Member and attend our Orientation course. Dates of our Orientation courses can be found on the Training Calendar.
Recognising Our Volunteers
We’re proud of the incredible work our volunteers do every day. If you see a fellow volunteer lending a hand, showing exceptional kindness, or going the extra mile, we encourage you to nominate them for recognition. Your nomination helps us celebrate the spirit of community that makes our organisation so special.
