Wildman Training

Wildman is a database used by ACT Wildlife to record all phone calls and wildlife that come into care.

Two separate training sessions cover inputting data for phone calls and recording data for wildlife.

Wildman Phone call Entry Training

The training session for recording data from phone calls is compulsory for any member who wants to volunteer answering the phone, assist with rescue and/or transport. It covers all the scenarios that are likely to be encountered either on the phone or in the field.

Wildman Animal Entry Training

The training session for recording data about wildlife is compulsory for any member who volunteers to become a carer or species coordinator. It covers how to input data about the animal when it first comes into care and how to record things such as weight, diet, health and release.

These training sessions are free and generally run over two separate nights via zoom.
